CONNECT RIGHT: EDITION #6

WHAT JEANS YOU NEED TO BUY IF YOU WANT TO BE COMFY / (AND ALSO) STYLISH AF...

Cali Denim from Madewell.

If you've seen any outfit of mine, it has more than likely included these jeans from Madewell. I was soooo hesitant of this bizarre crop trend last Fall, but now I cannot get enough of it. These jeans are amazing whether you're in booties all day exploring the city, or in your Vans running around from photo shoot to meeting. You can sit on the couch in them and literally not be phased that you aren't in leggings. That right there is reason enough!

High-waisted that look good with a cropped top or regular old shirt, these babies are #1 in my eyes.

Buy them in faded black here or distressed light denim here

WHAT SOAP YOU SHOULD BUY IF YOU WANT TO FEEL GOOD AND DO GOOD...

Coffeffe.

I've always been a huge fan of buying coffee scrubs for the natural exfoliation for both my face and body. So when I found out about Coffeffe, I was obviously v curious and excited to try something that I didn't have to buy off Amazon (still love you though).

Established in July 2017 here in Washington, DC this amazing brand is on a mission to lower landfill waste from coffee consumption. How? They use the recycled coffee grounds to handmake natural products that are good for you and the planet. My favorite is their Cocoa Vanilla Coffee Soap which is made with Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Canola Oil, Castor Oil, Coffee Ground, and Cocoa Vanilla Extract. All natural, baby!

I found them on Instagram, which surprises no one. But you can purchase their product off of their website, or from one of these participating shops: Bump 'n GrindChevy Chase FloristCoffee NatureLost Sock CoffeeSongbyrd Record Cafe and Music HouseWapa Cafe

WHAT I'M LISTENING TO THIS WEEK....

borns1.jpg

BORNS.

Hi, Libby. Thank you for introducing me to these magical tunes. First off, totally thought the lead singer was a girl (negative). Rather he is a high fashion lyrical genius who reminds me of a more bizarre Jim Morrison and it's amazing. Libby and I saw him live at (where else) The Anthem and I have had his albums on repeat since. Do yourself a treat and get funky by putting on Sweet Dreams, I Don't Want U Back or Holy Ghost.

Get your Spring started off on the right foot (hehe) by treating yourself to some local self-care soap, new jeans, and new tunes.

See ya next week!
